Flamboyant Elegance is not just a series of illustrations, it is a mythology. A mythology built on the convergence of humor and the conception of elegance.  

 

Each piece is a critique of the idolization of current pop culture figures, put through a religious lens. Applying animal-heads to the bodies of iconic actors, musicians, and fashion models paired with outlandish poses, I have created a sense of purposeful awkwardness which is essential to the appeal and purpose of the series as a whole.
