The Canard Family Portraits were an experiment in the use of pattern and what it can accomplish: it shows how pieces of scrapbooking paper and frames I bought at Goodwill could effect character design.

In the end, I created the Canards', a family of circus freak rejects comprised of the disfigured, moustachioed, tusked... and the ever impressive, Blue-footed Booby in a bowtie.
